Hanoi – Halong on Cruise – Da Nang (5N6D)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver who will escort you to your hotel in the city center. Please note that hotel check-in time is at 14:00 and early check-in is not included. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Hanoi with a half-day city tour. Visit the historic Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ba Dinh Square, the outside view of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s Stilt House, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam. End the day with a delightful Water Puppet Show at a local theatre, showcasing traditional Vietnamese culture. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart for the breathtaking Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located approximately 160 km from Hanoi – around a 3.5 to 4-hour drive. The journey takes you through the scenic Red River Delta, where you can witness Vietnamese rural life and lush green rice fields. Upon arrival at the port, embark on your Halong cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a safety briefing before checking into your cabin. While cruising through the bay, savor a delicious lunch and admire the stunning limestone karsts. In the afternoon, visit the remarkable Stalemate Cave. Return to the cruise to enjoy the sunset with Happy Hour at the bar, followed by a fun Cooking Demonstration and Food Décor Class. Dinner will be served onboard, and afterward, you can try squid fishing, sing karaoke, or simply relax in your cabin. Overnight on the cruise. (Note: Indian food is not available on the cruise, but vegetarian meals can be arranged.)

Start your day early with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the sundeck as you witness the beautiful sunrise over the bay. Enjoy your morning tea or coffee along with breakfast while taking in the serene seascape. Then, join an excursion to a nearby island where you can climb to a panoramic viewpoint and relax on the beach or take a dip in the emerald water. Return to the cruise, freshen up, and check out of your cabin. Continue cruising around the scenic bay before having an early lunch (brunch). Disembark at Halong City around noon and drive back to Hanoi. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to visit the famous Marble Mountains – a group of five marble and limestone hills representing the five elements. Explore the caves, pagodas, and scenic viewpoints here, followed by a visit to the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village. In the afternoon, proceed to the ancient town of Hoi An, a well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a walking tour that covers the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tam Ky Ancient House, Chua Ong Pagoda, the Pottery Museum, and the local market, showcasing the town’s rich multi-cultural heritage. Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Today after breakfast, head out for a full-day excursion to Bana Hills, known for its pleasant climate and lush surroundings. Take a cable car ride to the top, where you’ll explore the picturesque French Village, designed to resemble a classical European town with cobblestone streets and Gothic-style architecture. Visit the iconic Golden Bridge, a stunning pedestrian bridge held by two giant stone hands, offering spectacular views of the mountains and clouds. Spend some free time at Fantasy Park, the third-largest indoor amusement park in Vietnam, where you can enjoy 4D films, adventure rides, and fun games. After an exciting day, return to your hotel in Da Nang for the night.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and some leisure time depending on your flight schedule. Later, you will be transferred to Da Nang International Airport for your return flight home, marking the end of a memorable Vietnam journey.
